Something pivotal has happened. A turning point in this story. The surprise may not be how much has changed, but how much is the same, in a different place. Looking at it the same way is impossible from here, in the rearview. Its beautiful I miss it, and I can't stand it, and it burns me up. The asphalt in front of me, about the same color, is my one god and religion. I may or may not have come to terms with the fact that my god will never tear this world apart for its sins against me.
My foot still kinda hurts. I have one more vicodin. And so much time to sleep.
