Maybe the secret to getting my diary back is to go back to the core values it was built on. That is to say, smarmyness and elfishness. Maybe not.
My wise friend Marty told me it helps him to consciously try not to worry about leaving a legacy. That makes so much sense to me it hurts. That Marty is indeed a wise man.
Today I won't worry. Today I'll linger awake for a while, think about the things I'm doing right, and try to foster a completely unnecesary appreciation for Billy Idol.
