"Hero" is the most beautiful movie I've seen in a good long time. Zhang Yimou is perhaps the most brilliant cinematographer of our time.
I know I've said some dumb shit about movies on here in the past, but this is legit. Go see this one. I was worries that my favorite director had sold out, that he had given up his art to make kung fu movies, and I've been pleasantly proven wrong. Beautiful beautiful movie.
