You're not fooling anyone, you big troglodite.

Okay fine, you got me, I don't really like girls, I'm just trying to lure one out into the open so I can club it and drag it back to the cave. Can you blame me? Come on!

Well, it's all nice and well to say you want to be friends with these nice girls, but I think each of us can only stomach being the good guy for so many girls, while the assholes have all the fun, before you inevitably get frustrated and walk. There's still the part of me that wants to make nice, new female friends, but I think I've reached my limit of two female friends that I can realistically maintain. For me, any more is just an excuse to pretend I'm in a relationship or something to that effect.

I agree as far as to say you shouldn't try to maintain a "friendship" with someone you're in love with. Been there, that sucks. But since having cut myself off from those relationships, I feel a lot better in general. But I still think theres nothing wrong with being friends with women. I'm by no means in love with every woman I meet, and I'm not in love with every woman I find attractive. I believe theres a difference and that theres room in there to have chill, stress free relationships with girls. You have at least two, so I don't think were on entirely different pages here. I'm just sick of being bitter, and I don't think I have to be, not all the time. Maybe I'm being naive, I don't know.

you're my friend and your sexy and those two things are just facts. and i love you. so there. but i don't think our friendship is terribly high maintenance. in fact, it's easy and fun. so what's all the hullabaloo? i agree. there is no reason to be bitter all the time. we're all just people doing our best. you rock my world.
